On your arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred for overnight in the selected accommodation.
Transfer to Akagera National Park, when you arrive you will enjoy a game drive and an evening boat ride.

Full day game drive. Akagera is central Africa's largest protected wetland and the last remaining refuge for savannah-adapted species in Rwanda. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Morning game drive. With luck, you will be able to spot some rare and elusive species, like the shoebill and swamp-dwelling Sitatunga. Its extensive network of freshwater lakes and papyrus swamps form the largest protected wetland in central Africa. In the afternoon, transfer to Kigali.

After breakfast, transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park with a stopover in Butare. Nyungwe forest is the most preserved forest in Africa. Acclaimed as the most important site for biodiversity in Rwanda.
Morning chimp trek. The tourists get to observe them so closely going about their own lives and see the human-like features and behaviour that makes them our closest relatives with 98.7 % DNA. Afternoon canopy walk.

Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Volcanoes National has five of the eight volcanoes in the Virunga Mountains.
After the briefing from the rangers of the ORTPN (the Rwanda Park Authority), you'll reach the starting point of your trekking, according to the family you have been appointed to. You’ll spend one hour observing their daily life: feeding, playing, and resting. After the trek, you’ll go to visit Ibyachi Cultural Village or red rock cultural center.
This morning, you’ll do the Golden Monkey tracking. Golden monkeys are known to have unique characters and are a rare species that are endangered at the moment. They are easily recognized due to the yellow patches that can be seen all over their bodies. Lunch and transfer back to Kigali for your return flight.
